Scenario
Mrs Tate is a 57-year-old woman who lives with her elderly mother (Alice). Alice has been in hospital for two weeks following a fall at home and is now about to return home with additional services including district nurses twice a day. After an occupational therapy home visit it has been decided that her bedroom should be moved from the first floor to the ground floor. Provision is being made to convert a small downstairs lavatory into a shower room and toilet. Mrs Tate is coming to see you to discuss Alice’s return home
